Solving the Tech Shortage with TechForce Foundation®‘s Workforce Development Campaign

TechForce Foundation’s workforce development campaign is an industry-wide initiative to solve the technician shortage by harnessing the collective resources of business, education and nonprofits to better engage, motivate and support mechanically-minded, hands-on learners in pursuing the career path of a professional technician.

The campaign works to: 1) reposition the outdated stigmas of the profession and showcase its opportunities; 2) bring back hands-on experiences for youth to engage with automotive and diesel technology; and 3) organically connect industry mentors with curious young minds who want to explore the career path.
