TechForce Waiver

Image/Media Release and Waiver *

I irrevocably grant to TechForce, its directors, officers, agents, employees and its third-party donors and supporter (“Representatives”) with respect to the photographs, films, tape or other images provided by me or taken of me for the benefit of TechForce (the “Images”), the unrestricted, absolute, perpetual, worldwide right to:

a. reproduce, copy, modify or otherwise use and exploit the Images or any versions or portions thereof, including my image, likeness, own or fictitious name, or reproduction thereof, biography, photograph, words and recorded voice, or any part thereof in combination with or as a composite of other matter, including text, data, images, photographs, illustrations, animation and graphics, video or audio segments, and any information, in any media or embodiment, now known or hereafter to become known, including any and all formats (the “Works”). I also consent to the use of any film, printed, video or voice-over matter in conjunction therewith,

b. use and permit to be used my name, image, likeness, biography, words, utterances and gestures, whether in original or modified form, in connection with the Works as TechForce may choose, and

c. display, perform, exhibit, distribute, transmit or broadcast the Works by any means now known or hereafter to become known.

I hereby waive all rights and release TechForce and its Representatives from, and shall neither sue nor bring any proceeding against any such parties for, any claim or cause of action for defamation, invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, or based upon or related to the use and exploitation of the Images, including any computer imaging, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of such Images or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof. The terms of this authorization shall commence on the date hereof and are without limitation.

Assumption of Risk as an Activity Participant *

I understand that TechForce does not require me to participate in any activities hosted, sponsored or promoted by TechForce and/or that of a TechForce donor or collaborator. I understand that participating in any activities may involve inherent risks and dangers of accidents, property loss or damage, minor or serious personal and bodily injury, and I VOLUNTARILY CHOOSE TO VOLUNTEER WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE INHERENT RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS INVOLVED AND ACCEPT AND ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH ACTIVITIES. Such accidents, losses, damages, and injuries may result not only from my own actions, inactions, or negligence, but also from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others participating in the activities. I have considered the risks involved, and voluntarily freely choose to assume these risks.

Release from Liability *

I, for myself, my heirs, successors, executors and subrogates, hereby KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS TechForce and its respective directors, officers, agents, employees and volunteers (collectively, “Releasees”) from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, liabilities, suits, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with any activities, including negligence of any kind or nature, whether foreseen or unforeseen, regardless of its cause, including negligence of Releasees.

Covenant Not to Sue *

I agree to not initiate any claim, lawsuit, court action or other legal proceeding or demand against Releasees, nor join or assist in the prosecution of any claim for money or other damages which anyone may have, on account of injuries (including death), losses, or damages sustained by you, other parties or your property in connection with any activities, and you waive any right you may have to do so.

TechForce Network Profile Agreement *

I authorize TechForce to create a complimentary profile for me in the TechForce Network and to use the photo that I have publicly displayed as my profile photo on my social media page in the setup of my profile. I understand that I can change my photo and all profile data at any time by logging into my TechForce Network profile.

Confidentiality *

I understand that I will be privy to TechForce staff, volunteer and student/working tech rosters, as well as private login credentials to the Volunteer Portal. I agree not to share this private information with anyone.
