Helping Students Find An Education And Career That Fits

Be a Pathfinder is an annual, career exploration campaign that speaks to parents, counselors, teachers and influencers of youth across the country. The campaign reminds them that there’s more than one road to success and not every student needs to go to a 4-year university. Technical education and the skilled trades matter. They offer a viable, rewarding pathway, especially for students who learn and work best through hands-on experiences.

We’re all wired differently, so TechForce strives help young people find an education and career that fits them. For those who are curious, love problem-solving, fixing things and keeping the world moving, a career as a professional technician might be a perfect match.

Start by taking our free Learning Style Assessment to identify your student’s dominant learning style: audible, visual or tactile. Receive a free report and tailor-made tips for education and career success.

While any dominate style can make an amazing technician, students who are predominately ‘tactile’ learners thrive best in project-based, hands-on learning and work environments. Unfortunately our country’s current education system mostly ignores these learners who are told to sit still, don’t touch and listen. Yet it’s this tactile intelligence that make them incredible technicians!

If the young person in your life is curious, loves problem-solving and using their hands to fix things, consider introducing them to TechForce where they can explore this “new collar” profession, find schools and afterschool programs, scholarships, training, and meet like-minded mentors, employers and friends. Give them a fun and safe resource hub for career exploration, skill-building and workforce development. Let TechForce help you steer their future success.
